Process
Upon first learning that the project would focus on corporate branding, I was initially concerned as it was outside of my usual design scope. However, I recognized this as an opportunity to expand my skill set and refine my approach to more strategic design work.
The first step in the process was naming the company. I aimed to choose a name that was both refined and accessible—conveying trustworthiness while remaining approachable. After considering various options, I found that the concept of elevation, which aligns with the company’s mission of helping clients achieve financial growth, resonated most strongly. The name "Summit Financial" was chosen, symbolizing both the peak of financial success and the journey to get there.
With the name in place, I moved forward with the design phase, focusing on creating a visual identity that reflected the company’s core values of growth, stability, and professionalism. The design elements incorporated natural, clean aesthetics with a modern edge, ensuring that the brand was both contemporary and grounded in the principles of financial security.
Throughout the project, I kept the end-user experience in mind, developing intuitive and functional designs for both the website and mobile app. The goal was to ensure that users felt confident and supported throughout their financial journey, whether interacting with Summit Financial online or on their mobile devices.
