Cheat Code is a 1980s themed and inspired “barcade” (arcade bar). This project required many levels of design, ranging from creating the initial branding to developing a web presence. I was going through a box of old games and VHS tapes, and a light bulb flickered on in my head, thus sparked the idea for a distressed, faded, retro design. The color scheme and overall design approach are inspired by: Miami Vice, Stranger Things, and 1980s Japanese design.
